Reflection

        We are now on the last remaining months of our high school life, or should I say last remaining days. Because only few days from now, we are going to say good bye to our dear classmates and teachers, for we are about to graduate and leave our school.

        As I leave the school, I for sure gained a lot of lessons in ICT. Lessons which can help me and benefits me on to my college life. HTML tags, notepads, photoshop and a lot of more. Most of our time we were in front of our computer units because aside from the fact that our teacher is busy. We have a lot of activities where we can apply our knowledge in to that particular topic. ICT subject really interest me right from the start and I know I learned a lot.

        Moving on, I know this knowledge that I gained in this particular subject can help me on my college life for I also have the interest on pursuing a computer related course.

My Dream My Future

        Everyone of us have our own dreams. Dreams which makes us strive hard to achieve every single dream we have. Dream which inspires us to do our best in everything in able to achieve the desires of our hearts and souls.

        I always dream of being a professional, a teacher, nurse or maybe and attorney. A successful professional who works not only for herself but also for her love ones. I will work hard not only for my own sake but also for the sake of my family. Cause one day I would like give them comfortable life, which simply includes a nice house for them. And after giving them a comfortable life I would like to give myself a prize. A house or a car maybe. And of course, every girls dream is to travel. I will travel the world, I'll go to famous cities and countries maybe with the one I love, if God permits.

        "Never allow waiting to become a habit. Live your dreams and take risk. Life is happening now." Every dream can be achieved if a person really works hard and strive for it. 

Change; It Starts With Me

       The only permanent thing in this world is CHANGE. Everything changes, everyone changes. As they say there are 3 C's in life, Choice, Chance and Change. You must make the choice to take the chance if you want anything in life to change.

        For my past high school years. I've been a party-go-lucky student who sets aside my requirements and then rush at the very last minute of the submission date. I know this behavior of mine should be change for i am undergoing a big change. I am about to be a college student and I should change my ugly behavior to be a responsible student. For I know that all of these things are also for my ow sake.

        I wanna be a responsible, hard working student on my college life. And I know I can be, because if a person really wants to change, then he should start it with him self. 

Ylocos Kannawidan Festival

        Ilocos Sur is very rich in traditions, cultures and beliefs which is the reason why Ilocos Sur is uniquely different from all other provinces. Our province have a lot of festivals that are being celebrated every year. One of these festivities is the Kannwidan Festival which is being celebrated every first 2 weeks of February.

        The Kannwidan festival is a feast where we preserve the uniquely different cultures, customs and traditions of the Ilocanos, It is a feast where each and every municipality exhibits their OTOP of the One Town One Product on a the trade fair. Kannawidan festival for me, is the best festivity of Ilocos Sur for it showcase all the beautiful creations of Ilocanos. There are pageants showing how beautiful, talented and intelligent Ilocanas are. There are also trade fairs where people exhibits their beautiful work of arts. And of course there are cultural dances, songs, traditions and practices which are being performed to show how amazing Ilocanos are.

        These beliefs, values and practices are worth preserving, for we are nothing without these. Ilocos Sur is nothing without these cultures, traditions, and practices we have. These traditions need to be strengthened. Cultural preservation must be rooted with faith in God.

Reflection, 3rd Grading....

         Every time I write a reflection on every ending of a quarter, it leaves me a feeling of sadness and at the same time the feeling of happiness.

          Sad for knowing the fact that we are getting closer to the end, for the fact that we only have few months to treasure and soon we will be leaving this school. The most heartbreaking part of my high school life is about to happen in a few months, even though we all don't want it yet to happen but we need to accept the it. Accept the fact that It will going to happen, no matter what.

          Happy in the other hand for all the lessons that i have learned and moments that have come up through. Even though it may get a little hard for this grading but I know I have my friends and classmates to help me. For I am starting to realize that that Maxconi is one, we are family.

Hello 2015!

"I love new years, I love the fact that I'll be leaving
 a whole year behind me, no matter if it was good,
bad or average. I like that kind of closure.
 I love this feeling of starting over again and
 having a fresh year ahead of me, filled with
 new chances and new experiences."



         New Year is one of my favorite holiday. It is celebrated with different traditions. New Year is the time for change and a time to thank. Being thankful for all the blessing that you have received, for making it through  another year- for all the problems that we come up through.

         A time to change, change ourselves for the better. Because New years are believed to bring us new life and hope. 2015 is here and we should brace ourselves for the new challenges that will come to our lives and I know can make it through all this. For I made it through last year, I made it through the hard times and pain. I made it through all the times when all I wanted to do was to give up. I made it. I made it another year and I know I can make it through this year.

The True Essence of Christmas

                December haven't yet come but we can already see Christmas lights and decorations everywhere. This proves how we give importance to the coming of Jesus Christ. But I know that it's not about the Christmas decors that proves our giving of importance to Christmas but it is all about love. It's all about love.

                 Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year for it is the day of birth of our saviour Jesus Christ Christmas is best enjoyed not because of the Christmas decors, gifts or festivities that we see and do but because of love. As the song says "Give love on Christmas day" so why won't we give love, besides it is free and it is the easiest thing we can do for Christmas. Love is the  true essence of Christmas, and as we all know love can divert into a lot of things. Things like giving, forgiving, caring and it gives peace to our hearts and minds.

                 Overall, Christmas should mean having quality time with our family and friends and being thankful for all of these blessing that we have. It's about celebrating and sharing love and joy to one another.
