Reflection

Time really flies so fast. And it's amazing how time flies by and you don't even realize it. First grading period has come to an end and I didn't even notice it. But when you come to think of it, there were a lot of things, activities and moments that happened that you didn't notice because you're too busy enjoying your time at that moment.
During the first quarter on our subject ICT, I learned a lot of things regarding on the history of internet, persons behind the development of internet, web blogging and more which really interests me. I have learned how internet was born and also the personalities behind it. There were also Filipino pioneers who contributed a lot to the development of the internet-which made me proud as a Filipino citizen.
The lesson that interest me most is the web blogging, where it enhances my writing capability. It is very useful for students like me who loves writing and reading for we can share the things that we write through the internet using our bloggers.
Well, 1st grading has ended, as it reminds me of our few remaining months as a high school students. 2nd quarter is coming, and I am hoping for moments to be treasured.

5th State of the Nation Address

President Benigno Simeon Aquino III successfully delivered his 5th SONA State of the Nation Address last July 28, 2014 at Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City. He mentioned and discussed things we do not know about his accomplishments, projects and programs that he done and his plans for his remaining years.
The president had mentioned 83 things on his SONA regarding on his accomplishments, project, programs and plans. But I am going to react about 1 thing he mentioned. "The country's ambitions are now being fulfilled one by one: universal healthcare, classrooms, jobs, harbors, roads, airports, security and peace. In addition to the national integrity restored is the world’s recognition of a new Philippines. The nation’s coffers, which come from the sweat of citizens, are being spent only for their benefit." In this statement of the president, he said that the country's ambitions are now being fulfilled one by one. But base on my observations there are a lot of schools that are lacking of classrooms because of the new curriculum, and i observed that my school is also one of them. The president also mentioned that there were a lot of Jobs created for this year. As I can observe there are still a lot of Filipino citizens who haven't found yet jobs here in the Philippines. That's the main reason why a lot of them were left with no choice and sent themselves to abroad to work, the OFW's or Overseas Filipino Workers.
A lot of Filipino citizens were asking "Is there really a so called change in our country or were just having a very slow progress in our economy? Tho, Pnoy still have time to do his plans and prove to everyone that he is worth the crown as the president.
